Geared towards professionals who do not have formal project management training, this program provides essential training in common methodologies used by project managers today. You will complete the program with a well-rounded set of both hard and soft skills needed to understand and implement project management best practice, including the principles of project management, project team management, and project assessment.

After completion of this program, depending on individual circumstances, you may consider preparing for the Project Management Institute (PMI) Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) exam.

Employment Outlook


The Bureau of Labor Statistics states that employment in management occupations is projected to grow 5 percent from 2019 to 2029, faster than the average for all occupations, and will result in about 505,000 new jobs. Employment growth is expected to be driven by the formation of new organizations and expansion of existing ones, which should require more workers to manage these operations. 

Foundational Knowledge


Experience in project coordination or management is encouraged but not required.
